The Kiosk
A corner plot on a prominent thoroughfare to the station in Walthamstow. We designed a box that could cocoon itself at night and protect itself against some of the more exuberent inhabitants of E17. Vertical fire protected black timber fins articulate the coffee kiosk box and provide it with an inherently domestic scale in this fast pedestrian zone.
