Shepherd’s Lane
Conversion of a shell and core office space on the ground floor of a seven storey residential building close to Homerton station. The CAT A & B fitout is a mixture of exposed concrete and masonry, with refined element of pale birch plywood interventions and a douglas fir flooring. Exposed services, ducting and trunking provide an industrial feel, whilst all ironmongery is also aligned with this aesthetic. Playful use of colour helps to counter balance the expression of raw materials. A central entrance area with bepoke crafted lights greet visitors, who can divert either side to respective offices. A grander communal gathering space is situated at the rear of the space where both offices can conjoin to host events and enjoy the social space convivially. This space connects the kitchen, meeting rooms and supporting facilities, whilst also being served by a HD projector and screen for presentation and entertainment events.
