An abandoned industrial warehouse nestled down an alleyway near Lauriston Road in Victoria Park Village, our task was to extend and renovate the property into a single family home. Minus a few planning hurdles, the permission was eventually won via appeal in LB Hackney. The creation of a internal courtyard punched through the existing volume helped us thread light throughout the property, and helped create an inward looking nest. A simple palette of materials were utilised to enhance the existing qualities of the masonry warehouse. The property recently featured as Omaze’s highest ever value property.
