BA (Hons) BArch ARB
Following in the footsteps of his grandfather by studying Architecture, Dale graduated with top marks at The Manchester School of Architecture in both BA and BArch courses and went on to work for a number of years in the city before relocating to London. He has worked for a selection of prestigious UK Architectural practices, across a range of sectors including; residential, education, commercial and transport. Prior to establishing Smith & Newton Architects, Dale worked for a prominent Industrial product design firm, broadening his global experience by leading projects in Russia, Germany, Canada and the US. The breadth of Dales experience and the varying project scales can all be identified by a common theme; his dedication to detail. Ensuring designs are at once aesthetically desirable, efficient – in both their form and use of materials – and are fundamentally fit for purpose.
He also enjoys and has an active interest in carpentry, constructing his own furniture designs.
